alchemic studio

Chris Barklow
A fourth-year computer science major, Chris has been playing video games for as long as he can remember. He's a sucker for a good story, be it in a game or a book. Chris likes analyzing games while he plays them, trying to figure out a designer's motivation. He also likes to play sports and goof around with friends.
Conor Brace
Born in Houston and raised in Austin, Conor is a lifelong musician who has developed a passion for film and game composing. Conor is Alchemic Studio's one-man audio department, creating original music and sound effects that help breathe life into digital worlds. At the ripe old age of 25, Conor enjoys his status as the team's grumpy old man, and never misses an opportunity to heckle his colleagues using the largest possible worlds.

Simon Dollo
Simon has been a hardcore gamer all his life. He loves playing, designing, and making video games. Simon has been designing levels with Alchemic Studio for almost a year. Michael Durcholz
I grew pale as I rose unsteadily from my seat. A shadow fell across the entryway. The temperature of my blood plummeted. Mike was upon us. “The Code is complete. Ask no more from me until the Art is ready. I will return.” With less than the softest whisper of a spring breeze through cherry blossoms, the Code Ninja was gone.
Stacy Ester
As an artist and video game fanatic, Stacy found there was no better way to combine her interests than by becoming a 1337 h4x02z video game artist. Her studio art major and involvement in Alchemic Studio and EGaDS have allowed her to pursue this passion and expand on her talents. Besides making video games, Stacy also enjoys fluffy animals, playing Final Fantasy 7 over and over again, Pixar movies, and not being Mara Jade in Star Wars Footman Frenzy.

Resume
Chris Martinez
Chris was born in a small town called Houston, Texas. He then proceeded to live for 18 years before attending UT Austin. His first console was the Super Nintendo, which he received for his 5th birthday. Since then he has cultivated a fondness for all video games, except racing games, which totally suck. Chris is of the opinion that Nintendo is, and has always been, the consummate game developer. By day, Chris programs for Alchemic Studio. By night, he takes on the persona of Michael Jackson, but the awesome 80's version, not the modern-day monstrosity.

Resume
Ruben Rangel
At the age of five, Ruben was introduced to the world of videogames by his dad, who let him play the original Legend of Zelda. Though he didn't know what exactly he was doing, Zelda instilled into him a passion for videogames that he still has today. In recent times, Ruben has directed this passion towards level design, while also gaining experience with 3D modeling and 2D textures. Ruben also claims the dubious honor of being the best console FPS player on the team. In his spare time, Ruben collects stamps, liberates nations, and outcooks Chris M. in several culinary styles.
